Handling & Socialization

Our pups begin handling from a very young age and continue to do so until it is time for them to go to their furever homes. Our pups will work on paw touching, ear touching, belly touching, eye covering, tail touching, nail touching, teeth/gum touching, nose touching, being held and brushed. Why is this so important within our program? It is very important for pups to be used to handling at a young age as it is unlikely a pup will be comfortable learning to be handled when they are older, when starting this process at a young age your baby will be used to being touched/handled as they've done it their whole lives where as an older dog who has not been handled at a young age will feel uncomfortable or possibly threatened, causing aggression or anxiety. Being handled/touched plays a huge part in pups/dog's lives, whether that be by young kids, being groomed, seeing the vet or working on training. Our pups begin socialization from a young age as well. During this process our pups will be introduced to children of all ages ranging from 2-12 years of age as well as small and large pets. This will prepare our pups to live within a home with children and other animals without fear and aggression.

Our Story

My family and I live on a small farm located in Pennsylvania. I have 2 children who are older and have started families of their own. My daughter is an important partner in my breeding program. She assists in many areas of the facility such as; socializing, feeding, watering and making sure the puppies get their pictures taken properly for advertising. Each of our beautiful puppies have their own unique personality and provide us with continuous affection, entertainment and enjoyment as we go about our daily lives.

We hope you enjoy your visit and will come back again. Please let us know if we can assist you in making a decision about one of our beautiful puppies. We appreciate your interest in our puppies and hope that you will find your new family member in one of our beautiful pups.
